Prelude in C
Nothing sets the tone for your wedding and reception better than music. From the romantic, breathtaking walk down the isle to the lively tunes that infuse the reception, the music you choose makes the moment.
We'll meet with you to listen to music and help you create your musical menu. A typical meeting lasts 30-45 mins. We can play for any part of your day or take care of it all!
Music for the Wedding Ceremony
Piano solo, piano duo, piano and flute or cello, or organ are all perfect for this part of your day. A typical ceremony starts with a Prelude about 20 mins prior to the ceremony and creates a background for light conversation and reflection while guests are seated. Next is the Processional which announces the arrival of the wedding party and builds to the entrance of the bride. The Signing is often the next opportunity for music. Often we accompany friend or member of the family singing a special song or provide a reflective piece of music that means something to the couple. The Recessional is the grand finale of the ceremony and reflects the celebratory nature of the occasion. Finally the Postlude maintains the festive atmosphere while guests exit of the ceremony site.
Music for Cocktail Hour
Options for this portion of the day are a jazz ensemble, classical chamber music, or solo piano. While your guests gather for the cocktail hour the music should allow for lively conversation and mingling.
Music for the Reception and Dance
We can emcee your occasion or work with your emcee to provide the music you want at the right time. From the first dance by the new couple, to filling up the dance floor, music brings everyone together to celebrate this fantastic day.
